Hello

I am Bob, Bobby or Tam's Boabby....I am North Ayrshire Shooting Ground's dog.

Its been a few years since I was found by Tom and brought here to stay.

It's pure brilliant up here, lots of people to clap me, lots of tit bits to scrounge in the club house, lots of fresh air and exercise every day, ,hanging out in the shop listening to the chat and best of all running around on the Mule  it's just geat :-) woof woof

Can you tell which one is me?

New Friends

New Friends I has some new friends in the garden this morning, 2 leverets!

Chillin'

Chillin'

Here I am on my favourite thing, the Mule.

Did I tell you what I did when we got a new one?  The man delivered the new one on a wee trailer. I was watching him when he drove the new one off the trailer, parked it up and drove the old one on to the trailer.  The nice man went to the shop to chat for a wee while then he got in his vehicle and drove away with the old Mule on the trailer.  We got as far as Ardrossan when, in his mirror, the man saw me!  I was just lying on the old one like I usually do!  The man went all the way round the roundabout and brought me back home.  Oh how they laughed!

Changes

There's a bit of work going on in the shop, a few alterations...no Tom and Jim are not offering a sewing service for skeet vests that are too tight or trousers too long.

The work should be finished soon.  All that sawing and hammering is disturbing my normally peaceful afternoon snooze in the shop!

Fed Up

Fed Up I am soo fed up with the wind and the rain, there is nothing to do apart from lie around in the shop & the office.  I haven't seen Ellie & Rosie for a while.  I hope they are being good girls because it's not long 'till Santa comes!

Mini Me

Mini Me One of our customers, that we hadn't seen for a wee while , was in today.  He had a mini me called " MAX".  Every one thought he was very cute.  Dad said he didn't know me when I was that age.

Winter is coming

It's been no' a bad summer up here (despite the weather).  The place has been quite busy what with one thing and another.  There have been a lot of big competitions on:  OT Grand Prix, OT Scottish Campionship, ABT Scottish Championship, Single Barrell Championship, Double Rise Championship and the ABT Home International.  I had a competition on my hands too that weekend...trying to get a bite of a roll off the Irish shooters.  I even had my eye on a bridie but the big man wasn't for sharing.

The new website is up and running so hopefully it will be more user friendly for everyone.

There is a bit of activity going on in one of the old sheep houses.  I thought some one was moving in when I saw the nice new door but it's going to be a new indoor air rifle range.  It should be finished soon.

The nights are fair drawin' in so that means it's nearly time for the Winter Series competitions to start again.  The first date is 4th October and kicks off with ABT.  OT and DTL are the following week on 11th October.  Format is the same as last year; 7 best scores from 10 to count.  As an added bonus any one who enters all 10 DTL competitions will be entered in to a free prize draw to win 500 Mirage cartridges.
