25 Clay Target Shooting Experience

Our 25 target shooting experience is the perfect way to experience clay shooting for the first time.

Shooting is a sport for all so why not try something new?  An introductory clay target taster session starts from as little as £30.00 for 25 targets.

At North Ayrshire Shooting Ground we have one of the best set ups for Clay Target Shooting in Scotland. We can boast to have the widest variety of targets on any clay shooting ground in Scotland.  

Clay Shooting is an exciting and thrilling sport. If you've never tried it before, why not give it a go now in a safe and friendly environment? No previous experience is required as full instruction is given by a qualified coach.  It's fun, challenging and suitable for men and women of all ages (minimum 16 years).  We can accommodate individuals to large groups.

Our 25 target  ‘Have a Go” clay target shooting session lets you have a taste of what clay target shooting is all about

 

• Shooting experience may be purchased as vouchers suitable for any occasion.  
• Vouchers are valid for a year from date of purchase.
• Vouchers are not print at home but sent by 1st class mail.

• Minimum age is 16 years

 

The taster experience can be booked for individuals as well as for groups.

 

What's included?

• On arrival you will be briefed on gun safety.
• Eye dominance and left or right handedness will be determined 
• You will be provided with hearing and eye protection then taken out on to the range where you will be given a fully supervised shooting lesson.
• Full training from an experienced instructor
• Use of shotgun, clays and cartridges
• Session will last approximately 40 minutes.
• You should dress appropriately for participation in an outdoor activity. We can provide all levels of instruction from complete beginner to refresher lessons for the experienced shooter looking to brush up on their skills.

Bookings will go ahead regardless of weather, unless its really severe.  Many of our shooting layouts are undercover!

 

Spectators are welcome to come along and watch free of charge.
